The Inclusive and Special Education Awareness sessions for parents took place on February 6th and 8th, 2024, at H.Dh. Atoll School, Vakaradhoo.
Mr. Ibrahim Ashraf, SEN ambassador cum Leading Teacher, introduced the sessions and they were organised by the Inclusive Education Cell of the H.Dh. Atoll School.
Ms. Aminath Zeeniya, the SEN teacher, conducted the sessions with support from the IE Committee members. A total of 80 parents attended the sessions, showing keen interest. They participated actively in the activities and discussions. Feedback from the parents was positive, expressing enjoyment and a wish for more sessions in the future.
It is recommended to continue organising such sessions to further educate and involve parents in supporting inclusive education efforts in the community.
